Minimum qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy.
- Completion of a U.S.-accredited internship and residency in diagnostic radiology.
- Board certification in diagnostic radiology.
- Current, full and unrestricted North Carolina medical license.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- At least one year of radiologist experience after residency.
Responsibilities
- Interpret diagnostic radiologic examinations and applicable special procedures.
- Provide expert opinions and technical consultations to radiology leadership and other clinicians.
- Complete procedures and diagnostic reports within established timeframes.
- Accurately document and validate reports under applicable military medical standards.
- Interpret studies that may include plain films, fluoroscopy, ultrasound, mammography, CT, MRI, venography, tomography, and interventional procedures within granted privileges.
- Participate in quality-assurance activities and provide technical consultation or training recommendations.
Compensation
$415 per hour plus a $15 per hour shift differential. This is a 1099 independent-contractor position with relocation available. A recruiter confirms all financial and contractual terms.
